Why I make music.

This might be a bit long, but the reason I started music is short.

This might be a bit long, but the reason I started music is short. To cope, I was about 13 or 14 when my home life was rough n a lot was bad with my family and within myself; I felt terribly about everything, so I started cutting myself, not because I wanted to kill myself because I was too scared of going to hell, n at the time I was very selfish so the way that it would affect my family never really crossed my mind, n the reason I cut was because I relieved all the stress, hate, and sadness i was constantly living in. I remember many artists made me fall in love into music and poetry so I can’t say one specific artist really motivated me but so I started writing songs and poems n back then starting ofc it was terrible and it was more just me trying to put everything on paper instead of trying to get everything out another way. the way i first made my first couple of songs were made using my phone to record a beat and me at the same time and it was terrible quality and I still have a few songs up on Soundcloud under a different artist name, but the point is were there’s a will there is a way. Then when I started getting more confident, I got all the money I had saved, which was about 700 dollars, and I bout an audio interface and mic set, which was about 200. Then I bought an old restored Mac for OfferUp and started making music under the name 2D Heart. So the reason I make music is to save myself.
